Bow River Alberta Fishing Report – July 07, 2020

July 07 2020

Water levels from yesterday (260 cms) remained about the same overnight and through out the day (unheard of), so visibility increased to well over a foot and the color started to turn to a nicer green.

Again, early on we attempted to entice some top water eats with no success and streamers also had no results. Nymphing once again proved to be what the fish were looking for – worms, stoneflies and leeches. Early on we did see some shucks in calmer water and a few larger mayflies, but no risers.
