Covid 19 – Health Screening Questionniare and Information

As we launch our 2020 season, we are introducing a number of new practices and protocols to ensure the health and safety of our guests.  We are following guidelines developed by the province of Alberta and Alberta Health Services.  While many of these practices will be adopted by Drift Out West and your guide, as guests you will have a critical role to play in helping us maintain a standard of health and safety excellence.

 

Booking your trip:

  • We will not accept a booking for a guest who has travelled internationally in the previous 14 days
  • If you are feeling unwell on the day of your trip, we will reschedule at no charge at a mutually agreeable date later in the 2020 season

On your float:

  • If you have your own equipment, we encourage you to bring it
  • While we will accept two guests per boat, guests will be required to bring and wear a face covering when it is not possible to maintain appropriate physical distancing (2 metres) Note:  Guests from the same household or “family cohort” are not required to maintain physical distancing
  • Your guide will be wearing a face covering when it is not possible to maintain appropriate physical distancing (2 metres)
  • For full day floats, lunch will be provided as a shore lunch option
  • All food will be packed in single serving containers. Guests’ food will be packed separately from your guide’s food and there will be no sharing of food
  • We will complete an intensive deep clean of our drift boat and all gear before and after each use
  • Hand sanitizer will be available in the boat for guest use

Transportation:

  • If you require pick up and drop off services, you will be asked to wear a face covering and gloves in the vehicle
  • Hand sanitizer will be available in the vehicle for guest use
  • We will complete an intensive deep clean of our vehicle before and after each use
  • Shuttle drivers will be masked and gloved while transporting the vehicle
  • High touch surfaces will be wiped before re-entry into the vehicle
