Ry  broke off, so I pulled in and anchored in some soft water to set him up.  I suggested to Cal, to fish the nearby seam.  I had my head down tying flies on Ry’s line when I heard Cal , “I got one!”, and his reel started singing.

 

I could see immediately that he was trying to keep the fish from entering the faster water, and I could tell it was a nice fish. As I pulled anchor and rowed out into the faster moving water, we watched the fish jump a couple times and ended up chasing and landed a beautiful rainbow 50 yards downstream.
